Developing student potential for premier leadership, personal growth and career success

Welcome to Agriculture!
At CTECH, I teach Veterinary Studies and Introduction to Agriculture, Food and Natural Resources.  Additionally, I teach at John Marshall where I teach Animal Science, Floral Design, Plant Science and Natural Resource Science.

Additionally I am the Rochester FFA advisor, which is the one of the largest student led organizations in the country.  We focus on premier leadership, personal growth and career success while growing our knowledge of agriculture.  I believe that The National FFA Organization has something to offer everyone, which is why each student enrolled in an Agriculture class is also a Rochester FFA member.

I teach many classes for science or art credit along with Articulated College Credit with Rochester Community and Technical College.

The courses I teach are through the nationally recognized CASE (Curriculum for Agriculture Science Educators) curriculum. Visit for more information and pathways within the CASE curriculum

I grew up on a dairy farm, where we milked 40 Holsteins.  I earned both of my Bachelors and Master degrees in Agricultural Education through the University of Minnesota.  My husband and I, along with our two children, dairy farm on his family farm where we milk 50 Holsteins.

My passion for teaching and agriculture began as a young child and has only grown ever since.  My roots run deep in agriculture and I enjoy teaching others the importance agriculture has on our everyday lives.
